In alot of ways the show's never been better. it's more intelligent now than it used to be in the 80's and early 90's when it was mostly fart jokes and sex humor. That's my opinion. I still enjoy listening and listen as much of the new shows as I can and enjoy just about all of them. Others may disagree. If you don't like the new shows why bother to download them.

Now having said that, most of the answers are there or implied, and if you want to have a lengthy discussion about them, here isnt the place. The light was the hub of the electromagnetism, thus Desmond being able to "uncork" it. I think Howards ignorance and demands of a simplistic answer just arent reasonable. Its not Seinfeld, its not Stargate, or any of these shows, its built on Sci-Fi yes, but it had alot of religious influences, and the story itself was more about the Journey of Jack, and less about the island itself. Anyways, I understand those disappointed, but I felt it was a good ending to a great show!

Fred seems to like the sound of his own voice, and when he tries to make points they're either exceedingly obvious or don't make sense at all. He's almost like JD in that sense, except he has a great voice and can enunciate really well.

This was before Warren and Dicky was still in the band. Duane Betts walks up to the stage and hands up back stage pases. This was the further tour with the Crowes and Blues Travelor, so we got back stage.

If you listen to the live shows from the Allmans in the last 6 or seven years, they blow away anything they ever did before even with both Duane and Dickey Betts. I saw the Allmans with Dickey. They haven't missed a beat without him.

Howard is who/what he is and I don't think any amount of therapy will help, its just something to try to excuse his self-centred behaviour. As they say: "hate the sin but not the sinner". I do hope Artie gets well cause something must have really upset him to put his mother thru a suicide. We can't just toss it off to being a drug addict, cause he could afford it just could not control it. We all have our demons. They may be under control but always trying to break the chain.

Nobody can get anyone else sober and clean, you can only point them in the direction for help. I do not blame Howard at all.
