It's in match order which doesn't follow a time schedule sometimes especially during the beginning rounds with the 8 brackets for the 32 teams. I'm pissed that US failed again against Ghana. It's a completely different flavor than the Stern show, yet with acknowledgement and appreciation for He Who Made All This Possible. This may be due to the fact Howard's contract is ending and he has not clued us in to his plans for the future. Everyone is older and getting tired of the early hours. Howard can't remember anything. I still listen but have to fast-forward some of the stuff and just go to the wrap-up show. Alot of repetition. At times just reading marksfriggin is enough. I don't think listeners have jumped the shark as lenny put it, but whats left for Howard to do? All things come to an end, the world won't end without him, and maybe Howard wants a life where he could enjoy the fruits of his labours. Maybe do a monthly special or something.

There's alot of insecurity behind that laugh and it would drive me fucking nuts. Now when Billy and Fred would impersonate that laugh it was great, but that was the only good to ever come out of it.

In alot of ways the show's never been better. it's more intelligent now than it used to be in the 80's and early 90's when it was mostly fart jokes and sex humor. That's my opinion. I still enjoy listening and listen as much of the new shows as I can and enjoy just about all of them. Others may disagree. If you don't like the new shows why bother to download them.
